The Harkla Weighted Compression Vest is a fantastic combination of sensory input with a garment, providing the calming effects of both compression and a weighted product in one comfortable vest.
This weighted compression vest assists in self regulation through deep pressure sensory input, a highly successful tool for children and adults with ADHD, Sensory Processing and Autism.
The pressure sensory input works by placing a comforting amount of pressure onto the sensitive pressure points on the body helping to ground and calm. This gentle deep pressure input provides a calming effect that feels like a big warm hug!
The navy blue colour allows the vest to be discreet enough to wear during school or in a work place without drawing attention.
Small: 53-66cm wide and 33-35cm long
Recommended age range: 2 - 4yrs
Medium: 61-76cm wide and 38-40cm long
Recommended age range: 5 - 9yrs
Large: 71-86cm wide and 45-48cm long
Recommended age range: 10yrs+
We recommend that you measure your child to ensure purchasing the correct size. The width is measured by taking the circumference of the torso. The length is measured by taking the measurement from the top of the shoulder to the waist. Is your child between sizes or on the higher end? We recommend you size up
Removable Weights are included in 1/4lb (0.115kg) and1/2lb (0.23kg) sealed satchels.
Recommended weight guide: Small 3lb (1.3kg), Medium 4lb (1.8kg) and Large 5lb (2.2kg)
