    The Harkla Weighted Lap Pad is a popular choice for use at school, the home or when travelling.

    The just over 2kg of pellets are encased in the sturdy yet soft plush fabric.  This weight provides deep pressure input to the proprioceptive system. This can assist with regulating the sensory system and encourage calming.   Deep pressure touch helps the body release serotonin which is an important chemical to help with mood stability.

    These weighted blankets are ideal for situations that might be stressful, for when an individual might be overwhelmed on in sensory overload.  It can also be used in combination (or following) vestibular input such as on a swing.

    To use, simply place on the lap, while seated at a desk or chair.  Or, on the back, shoulders or chest. 

    The Harkla Weighted Lap Blanket is designed with families in mind.  It is easy to wash and is very portable.

    Harkla Weighted Lap Blanket Features:
