The Blue Orange Sumoku is a maths tile game with lots of ways to play.

The original version will have players trying to create rows or columns (like a crossword) with numerals that wil add up to a multiple of the number rolled on the dice.  For example, if a 5 is rolled, a player can put out tiles to add up to 5, 10, 15, 20 etc.  The only “rule” is that tiles you put out must be all different colours.  The higher the multiple you can produce the more points you get.

There are 96 chunky tiles (approx 2cm x 2 x 0.5), a dice (approx 2 x 2 x2cm) and they all come in a handy travel pouch.

We love the maths involved, especially good for learning and reinforcing times tables and “multiples” as well as addition.

We also love that it can be played in so many different ways, and made harder or easier.

The instructions included cover lots of variations.
